How to Unlock the Mandalorian and Baby Yoda in Fortnite
The Mandalorian and his sidekick Little Yoda are large transition characters in the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 Battle Pass . Players can dress up as a galactic bounty hunter-turned-nanny, equip his weapons, and even unlock Baby Yoda’s cute companion for the next few weeks.
Like all Fortnite skins, the Beskar Mandalorian armor is cosmetic only and doesn’t provide any gameplay bonuses, but it looks awesome and comes with some fun in-game quests. To unlock the full Mandalorian skin, simply purchase the Season 5 Battle Pass. Skin is an automatic reward at level 1.
Since the Mandalorian base skin is one of the simplest crossover items in Fortnite , expect a lot of doppelgangers on the internet. If you want to stand out, you can polish your bounty hunting gear with Beskar Armor, the fictional metal that makes Mandalorian armor so durable. You need to complete the in-game objectives checklist, for each mission you will receive a piece of Beskar’s shiny armor. These tasks are unlocked as you progress through the combat passage.
Here’s how to get the complete set:
- Right Shoulder Armor : This is the first Beskar piece you can unlock and is the easiest to get. It is hidden in the wreckage of Mando’s ship, the Razer Crest. Open the map and head to “???” in the Sandy Point area. You will know you are close when you see smoke and debris. Step on the ship to get the armor.
- Helmet: Complete the contract in five minutes.
- Left Shoulder: Earn Weapons Specialist rewards (Damage other players with five different weapons).
- Left Leg: Find the chest hidden in Deep in the Belly of the Shark. It is located on the second floor of a shark-faced mountain near Coral Castle Island, in the north of the map.
- Right Hand: Find and defeat the NPC boss Rukus who is hiding in the Hydro 16 building in Slurpy Swamp.
- Left hand: go to “where the earth meets the sky.” Open the chest at the top of the tallest mountain southeast of Catty Corner.
- Right Leg: Collect 500 Gold Bars. Complete contracts, open chests, communicate with NPCs, and fight other players to find them.
- Body Armor: Complete a weekly legendary quest.
Receive a jetpack and an Amban sniper rifle.
The Mandalorian will appear as a hostile NPC with a jetpack and a powerful sniper rifle capable of tracking down enemies. Defeat him and he will drop this item as a loot that you can use for the rest of the match. You will find him wandering around the crash site of the Razer Crest, but be quick because you need to kill him and sweep away the loot before the other players in the match.

The final piece of Mandalorian-themed gear is the adorable companion Baby Yoda, who hangs out with your armored character Beskar. Players get the Little Green Dude when they reach level 100 on the current Battle Pass. There are two ways to reach level 100: play the game and earn enough experience, or buy your way to the top level for V-Bucks.
