New to Prime Day? We’ve got everything you need to get started . Sales information is accurate at time of publication, but prices and availability are subject to change.
I have nothing against the best smartwatches on the market, and I’m sure many people are more than happy with their purchases, but I’ve had a Fitbit Charge 6 on my wrist for about a year now – it does almost everything a smartwatch does, but in a lighter, more compact form factor.
This really matters when you’re exercising or sleeping: Garmin, Apple, and Samsung watches feel very bulky in comparison. And if you’re still not convinced, this fitness tracker is back at its lowest price on Amazon yet: $99.95 (that’s 38% off its original price of $159.95).
In my Lifehacker review of the Fitbit Charge 6, my colleague Beth Skwarecki wasn’t as impressed with the device as I was. However, she praised its simplicity, the app, and the low price (which is now even lower). It does the basics well, which is essentially all I need from a wearable.
Sure, with a more limited screen, you won’t be able to see full maps or messages, but you’ll always be able to see the time, heart rate, and steps you’ve taken in a day. Now that Google is also in charge of Fitbit, you know the app (and likely AI) updates are going to be big.
