Acer Swift 16 Powerful AI Laptop Sells for Just $800 on Prime Day

If you’re looking for a stylish new laptop, the Acer Swift 16 AI PC might be for you. It has a huge 16-inch 3K OLED display and supports Windows Copilot+ features thanks to Intel’s new AI-focused processors. But even if you don’t care about AI features (which, frankly, is understandable), the Swift 16’s sheer power makes it worth considering. The Swift 16’s only real issue was its price: At nearly $1,300, it’s hard to recommend.
Best Buy’s sale (which rivals Amazon Prime Day) has solved that problem. For those few days, it’s $450 off, bringing the price down to $799 . That’s the lowest price we’ve ever seen.
It’s about performance, screen, and battery life.
With a 16-inch screen and an all-metal chassis, this is a really big laptop. But you get a huge 2880 x 1800 OLED screen and really good battery life. It lasted more than 20 hours in PCMag’s battery tests, which means it’ll easily last a full day of work.
The Intel Core Ultra 7 256V processor is great for office tasks, and the integrated graphics card is great for high-resolution displays and some games. However, don’t expect to use it as a gaming laptop, as it doesn’t compare to laptops with discrete graphics.
You get a fast 1TB SSD and 16GB of RAM, which is more than enough for most work tasks. Plus, it comes with Windows 11 Home, as well as Thunderbolt and USB-C ports.
PCMag gave the Acer Swift 16 AI an Excellent rating of four stars, noting that “The Swift 16 AI has a lot going for it, especially its OLED touchscreen and long battery life. Paired with a V-class Intel Core Ultra 2 processor, this laptop is great for entertainment and light content creation.”
