New to Prime Day? We’ve got the lowdown on everything you need to know . Sales are accurate at the time of publication, but prices and inventory are always subject to change.
Maybe you’re retiring your old Vitamix, or you’ve been struggling with the idea of splurging on one for years. I get it: The regular price is high enough to make you second-guess what you’re investing in, regardless of the glowing reviews. But right now, nearly every Vitamix blender model is on sale for Amazon Prime Day, making your choice at least a little easier. If you’ve been on the fence, now’s the time to step over it.
How to choose Vitamix
The Vitamix brand has three main categories, ranging from the more affordable and simple to the more expensive and feature-laden. These models are the entry-level Explorian, mid-range Propel, and top-of-the-line Ascent, respectively. Separate from these is the Legacy 5200. This tall, thin blender is an older design, but it has gained a serious and dedicated user base.
There are sales going on right now across all model categories, so the question is: which Vitamix is right for you?
My picks for the best Vitamix products on sale:

The Explorian is similar to the entry-level Vitamix blender, but don’t be fooled into thinking it’s lightweight – it’s super powerful, but the brand is priced at its most affordable. This model line also gives you more freedom with the manual controls, so in some ways you have more control over your blending. I’ve put the Explorian E310 through its paces, and you can read my full review here. This model retails for $329.95 (down from $379.95). You can save a ton of money with this model – sure, it doesn’t have preset modes, which lets you change speeds and turn it off once you’ve blended, but I think you’ll get by.

The Propel series is the next level up in terms of power and presets. It usually has a slightly higher price tag, but it’s not that far off from the Explorian’s price right now. The Propel line has a 2.2 horsepower motor, which also makes it just as powerful as the next level up. The Propel 510 has the same variable speed feature with three presets, and the Propel 750 has all the same capabilities with five presets, including a nut butter and scrub preset. Personally, I love my Vitamix for those two presets, so I’d recommend the Propel 750 if it fits your budget; it’s 40% cheaper at $379.95 (down from $629.95).
But then again, you don’t need those two extra presets at all. They just mean you can walk away from the machine and come back later. Other than that, they have the same capabilities. In terms of savings, the Propel 510 is a smarter buy at $299.95 (40% off $499.95).
The Ascent Series
The Ascent Series is Vitamix’s newest, most sophisticated line of blenders, with a sleek base and attractive digital control panel. All models have the usual pulse function and 10 speeds, but differ in the number of presets included: The X2 has switches and three presets, the X3 has touch buttons and three presets, the X4 has five presets included, and the Ascent X5 has 10 presets. All of these models are on sale—you can save about $50 no matter which model you choose—but only one is on sale at a significant discount: The Ascent X3 is on sale for 31% off for $449.95 (the regular retail price is $649.95). While the Ascent X4 and X5 are excellent (read my Ascent X5 review here), the Vitamix Ascent X3 is the best deal right now. Save yourself some money.
Vitamix Legacy 5200
This blender is tall and slim with a large 64-ounce capacity. It’s one of their favorite models because the shape and power are the closest thing to a restaurant-grade blender. This model is currently 30% off at $349.95 (down from its regular price of $499.95). It doesn’t have any presets, but it does have 2 horsepower and a seven-year warranty you can count on.
