AirPods are great, but they have a few drawbacks. They’re not optimized for third-party products, they don’t have color options, and they can be a bit pricey — at least outside of Prime Day . While AirPods are popular, they’re far from your only option if you’re looking for a new pair of wireless earbuds. The Bose QuietComfort Bluetooth Earbuds are one such option, and they’re on sale for their lowest price ever on Prime Day . You can snag a pair for $129, which is 28% off the retail price of $179.
The QuietComfort Earbuds are not to be confused with the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds . The Ultra earbuds are indeed better, but they are also much more expensive at $299. The Bose QuietComfort Earbuds maintain their $129 price tag and even earned a solid 4/5 star rating in a PCMag review . PCMag praised the QuietComfort earbuds for their sound quality, noise cancellation, battery life, and the fact that you can have two simultaneous connections at once. The review described the earbuds as “bulky,” which is a major point of contention, so that’s something you should keep in mind before purchasing this product.
These earbuds have a companion app that lets you customize your audio experience with an equalizer. The app also lets you customize the earbuds’ touch controls to your liking. Overall, the QuietComfort Earbuds are a great alternative to the non-Pro AirPods for most people. If you want the best possible audio and noise-canceling experience, you might want to consider upgrading to the Ultra earbuds. But at $299, that’s a pretty big jump.
