Bose’s QuietComfort Headphones Are Selling at Record Low Prices During Prime Day

Prime Day 2025 runs from Tuesday, July 8 through Friday, July 11, and Lifehacker is sharing the best sales based on product reviews, comparisons, and price tracking tools.

If you’ve been putting off upgrading your noise-canceling headphones , now might be the time. The Bose QuietComfort Bluetooth headphones are currently $199 down from $349, their lowest price ever, according to price trackers . For that price, you get Bose’s active noise cancellation in a design that folds inward and packs away neatly. That’s more important than you might think — some new headphones, like the Sony WH-1000XM5 (currently $298 down from $399 for Prime Day ) or the AirPods Max , don’t fold at all and take up more room in your bag. The QuietComfort’s foldable design and hard-shell zippered case, on the other hand, are compact and travel-ready.

The comfort and performance of the ANC are about what you’d expect from Bose, which is to say: excellent. You get a strong low-end rumble, crisp highs, and a clear midrange that doesn’t become distracting, notes this PCMag review . The sound feels more natural than the older QC 45s , and you can still adjust the EQ in the app if you want extra bass or brighter highs. Battery life is rated at 24 hours. There’s no way to turn off ANC or Aware mode entirely, but you can switch between them with the Action button on the left earcup. Long-pressing that button will launch Spotify Tap, which will resume your last playlist without you having to pull out your phone.

Controls are mostly physical and intuitive. There’s a three-button layout on the right earcup for playback and volume. They also support multipoint pairing, allowing you to stay connected to two devices at once, but you’ll have to enable the feature manually in the Bose Music app. Codec support is basic, limited to AAC and SBC, so these won’t be a favorite among wireless audiophiles. But for casual listening, Zoom calls, and noisy commutes, the experience holds up well. If all you’re looking for in your over-ear headphones is reliable ANC, clear sound, and something that won’t take up half the space in your backpack, this deal is worth considering.
