What’s New on Paramount+ and Showtime in May 2025

Several popular Paramount+ shows will return with new seasons in May. The seventh installment of The Chi , Lena Waithe’s drama about life on the South Side of Chicago, will premiere on May 16. Original crime series Criminal Minds: Evolution (May 8) returns for its 18th season, along with the third season of the SkyMed medical drama (May 15), which follows medics and pilots flying ambulances in Northern Canada, and the 10th season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars (May). 9).

Paramount+ will also stream the American Music Awards (AMAs), hosted by Jennifer Lopez, on May 26, as well as a live studio show hosted by soccer star David Beckham. Beckham & Friends Live is an alternative broadcast of CBS Sports’ coverage of the UEFA Champions League semi-final games on May 6 and 7 and the final on May 31.
