These headphones (rated “Excellent” by PCMag ) have a semi-open fit that is said to provide more comfort than traditional in-ear designs, but doesn’t offer the full “spacious” feel of open-back headphones. Plus, they come with four pairs of oval silicone ear tips in small, medium, large, and extra-large options, so finding a snug fit shouldn’t be a problem.

However, the controls on the headphones are reportedly a mixed bag: They’re great for preventing accidental touches, but are prone to tripping when you adjust them in your ears. You can customize these controls in the Jabra Sound+ app. In the app you’ll also find a five-band equalizer, presets like Bass Boost, and a Soundscapes section with relaxing white noise and ocean waves. In terms of sound, thanks to 10mm dynamic drivers delivering a frequency response of 20Hz-20kHz, the Elite 10 is said to deliver deep, punchy bass without overwhelming the mids and highs, making for an immersive audio experience (although purists may find the bass a little too sharp). . As for ANC, these headphones provide excellent noise cancellation, reducing powerful low-frequency noise to near silence and handling highs and mids in noisy environments like a pro, PCMag’s review noted.

Elite 10’s multipoint connectivity makes it easy to pair with two devices, while Bluetooth 5.3 compatibility and Google Fast Pair features make setup simple. Moreover, durability is another advantage here. With an IP57 rating, dust won’t bother them and they’ll stand up to sweaty workouts, rain, or even a quick rinse. In comparison, leading competitors Apple, Bose and Sony only have an IPX4 rating, which is much less impressive. Battery life is decent, too, at six hours with noise cancellation on (or eight with it off), plus an additional 21 to 28 hours from the case, which also supports Qi wireless charging (adding extra convenience). Of course, these numbers may vary slightly depending on volume levels.
