My Seven Favorite Cleaning Influencers on YouTube

While I was working on a post about the best cleaning influencers to follow on Instagram following the news that TikTok will go unavailable in the US later this week, I noticed something: some of the most popular creators on Space aren’t filming mini-video on Reels; instead, they work on YouTube, where they have more opportunities to present their advice and inspiration. Here are some of the best ones you can follow right now.

Magic Cleaning of the Midwest

I love the Midwest Cleaning Magic videos because they are so achievable. You’re not watching someone in a luxury home using the most expensive vacuum cleaner on the market, but rather a down-to-earth guy who takes turns inspiring and communicating while teaching you the basics of cleaning and doing some minor home repairs. And – and this is important – the videos are funny.

Auricataria

You’ve probably seenAurikatariina’s videos posted on Facebook or X, but she’s worth following because she cleans other people’s houses for free. While your home may not be in as bad a state as the one she is dealing with, you can get a lot of helpful advice from her. She cleans with a positive attitude and great compassion, which inspires me as I watch her joyfully clean up trash and share her favorite products. When she uses a product, she even displays a small image on the screen of what it looks like in the package so you know exactly what to buy to get similar results.

This crazy life

Another channel filled with interesting content is It’s a Crazy Life , where creator Amanda gives a realistic look at how she cleans the home she shares with her family, including three young sons. She offers different types of content, from testing “viral hacks” to showing how she renovates different rooms in her home on a budget. Personally, I’m tired of unnecessary influencers (at least in the cleaning industry) and I love seeing how real people with normal lives and jobs manage to stay organized on top of their other responsibilities, which is why these videos are great.

Clear my space

On the Clean My Space website you can find the answer to any cleaning question. Seriously, this channel has it all. While other cleaning channels focus on feel-good videos of creators scrubbing dirty sinks or giving rooms a makeover, this one acts as a how-to guide with dedicated videos on everything from cleaning a glass stovetop to making your own cleaning products.

Best organization channels on YouTube

I also love watching videos of people decluttering their homes rather than just cleaning; for me this is where real inspiration comes. It’s nice to see someone clean up the dirt, but most of the time I already know how to do it. However, watching how someone organizes their things can give me a lot of new ideas.

iOrganize

iOrganize is my favorite online organizer. This isn’t really a category of influencers that I ever thought I’d have a “favorite” before I started writing about cleaning and organizing, but here we are. On Kristen Fackler’s channel, she offers straightforward, no-nonsense advice on how to rethink the way you organize your home. The clips are simply shot and the focus is on the ends, which is refreshing and gets straight to the point.

Karl’s project

Another genre I like involves one organizer going into other people’s houses and teaching them how to declutter and declutter. That’s exactly what happens in The Carla Project , where you can see a variety of different living spaces and find clips that exactly match your needs, from “small kitchens” to “overflowing toilets.” Creator Carla also shows how she tackles her own organizing and decorating projects.

Secret slut

Secret Sloppy uses and demonstrates the FlyLady tidying method , so you know she knows what she’s talking about because it’s one of the best organizing methods. Steph, the creator, gives gentle tips on how to get started with cleaning techniques, how to make cleaning a priority, and how to stick with the habit. She shares her before and after experiences, as well as the lessons she learned while working with the FlyLady system, all in an accessible way.
