My Seven Favorite Cleaning Accounts to Follow on Instagram

As it stands, it looks like TikTok will be banned from app stores on January 19th . And while I’m no government expert, I am an experienced social media user who knows people worry about their followers, accounts being followed, and saved videos disappearing. If you’re getting your cleaning and content organizing inspiration from TikTok, where CleanTokkers have always been popular content creators , you might want to know about comparable Instagram accounts that you can consider as a replacement. Here are seven of my favorites.

The best cleaning of Instagram accounts

I spend a lot of time on social media looking for cleaning hacks, so I know a thing or two about what makes a good cleaning video. Here are some of the best cleaning accounts to follow.

@cleanwithbeax, 812 thousand subscribers

I love watching videos on @cleanwithbeax where Bea Elton renovates houses filled with clutter, trash and complete disarray. It’s fun to watch her transform dirty surfaces with a duster, and even if your home isn’t as messy as the ones she deals with, you can always learn something from watching her maneuver her vacuum cleaner or writing down the products she swears by.

@gocleanco, 2.4 million followers

Videos on @gocleanco are more straightforward posts with cleaning instructions, interspersed with inspiring, idealistic clips such as shots of a tidy home or holiday decor. Content creator Sarah McAllister has a knack for creating variety, so I’ll often find myself scrolling through something idyllic and end up looking at the best vacuum cleaners for sale online (which is great for when I just want to absorb cleaning knowledge without thinking too hard) . about this).

@anna_louisa_at_home, 4.3 million subscribers

Anna Louise, supplier @anna_louisa_at_home , is a great follower. She’s the author of the popular book The Five Minute Cleaning Routine , and her videos are very practical. She shares product reviews, sneak peeks of hacks, and quick tips—and I mean quick, since her entire cleaning philosophy revolves around not spending too much time on it.

The Best Organization for Instagram Accounts

The best content you can consume has less to do with cleaning and more to do with organization. From experience, when I see someone sharing a video of how neat and well their things are stored, I get inspired to make my space more organized. Organization is great for video content, especially because before and after photos are very nice, so let them inspire you.

@mrshinchhome, 4.8 million followers

Sophie Hinchliffe, aka @mrshinchhome , is one of the most popular organizers. I get lost in her calm voiceover that accompanies videos of her performing tasks such as organizing packed lunches for her children, sorting through her favorite cleaning and organizing products, and rearranging the house. In addition to her great grid posts, her Instagram stories are full of “reset” inspiration and videos of her decluttering rooms and surfaces.

@the.decluttered.mom, 380 thousand subscribers

@ the.decluttered.mom is full of inspiration and motivation, with the account constantly posting content that empowers people to admit they’re overwhelmed and then encourages them to get back into the game. The account has a gentle and wholesome approach and seems to encourage anyone getting off the couch and organizing just one thing. If you want an account that will treat you with kindness and not shame you for not living in pristine luxury, then this is it.

@organizingspacesbykim, 291 thousand subscribers

The account @organizingspacesbykim has videos on everything: tips on how to unpack when moving, ideas for organizing a pantry, and even tips on how to organize a shed. Even though I don’t have anything like a shed, I still enjoy watching a professional organizing team work on it and I still get great tips on how to use storage containers and make solid decisions about what to keep and what to get rid of. This account is also great if you’re looking for recommendations on specific products and want to know exactly how they’re used before you buy them.

@tidydad, 379 thousand subscribers

@Tidydad is my personal favorite. Decluttering and decluttering are female-dominated content niches, so it’s great to see a dad get involved, and great to see tidy dad himself Tyler Moore decluttering his New York City apartment, since I live in the small space. Moore, author of Tidy Up Your Life , shares product reviews and tips that appeal to people with limited space, making the content engaging and useful, especially when so many other cleaning influencers live in a palace.
