Three Great IPad Deals Coming Before Christmas

An iPad makes a great Christmas gift, but finding one at a good price during the holidays can be challenging, although not impossible. The 9th generation iPad is already on sale for $199.99 (originally $329.99) at most retailers, but you have options for other “budget” iPad options that will also go on sale before Christmas. Here are some of the best “budget” iPad options you can buy right now, with plenty of time for them to arrive before the holiday.
The 9th generation iPad costs just $199.99.
The iPad of the hour is the 2021 iPad Wi-Fi 9th Generation 64GB , which has dropped in price to an impressive $199.99 since August (originally $329.99). This iPad is already sold out at most reputable retailers as it’s the cheapest iPad you can get at the moment, but Target still has it in Space Gray as of this writing. If Target is no longer in stock by the time you read this, the next best place to find them is Walmart , but they cost $249. You can read more about this iPad in PCMag’s review .
The 10th generation iPad is $70 off.
The next best iPad deal is the new 10th Generation iPad Wi-Fi 64GB , available for $279.99 (originally $349.99). When the 10th-generation iPad was released in winter 2022, it was considered “the best tablet for most people,” according to PCMag’s “excellent” review . It measures 9.79 by 7.07 by 0.28 inches and includes an A14 Bionic chip, 10.9-inch Retina LCD display, 64GB of internal storage, 12MP front and rear cameras, Touch ID and battery , which Apple promises will work all day. Latest iPad Air $100 off.
If you’re looking for the latest iPad Air, the iPad Air M2 came out this summer , and the 11-inch 128GB iPad Air retails for $499 (originally $599). While the discount isn’t that big, it’s still impressive considering it came out a few months ago. The new M2 chip delivers better performance than previous models. Some of the new iPad Air features include split screens, pick up and live text features. You can read more about the iPad Air M2 in PCMag’s “excellent” review .
Keep in mind that the iPad Air is a premium tablet, which may be overkill for most people. As Lifehacker tech editor Jake Peterson puts it: ” They’re overwhelmed .” But if you want the best, then this is it.
