What’s New on Netflix in January 2025

Netflix is ​​kicking off 2025 with new releases of a variety of popular reality shows, several documentaries and comedy specials, as well as weekly live events.

Notably, the streaming service is reaffirming its commitment to live events as the new exclusive home of WWE: Raw starting in 2025. It debuts on January 6 at 8:00 pm ET with performances from John Cena and The Rock, as well as a new theme song. from Travis Scott. Weekly episodes will air every following Monday. (By the time Raw premieres, Netflix will also be airing two NFL Christmas games.)

January will also see a new version of Love is Blind: Germany (January 3), with episodes released weekly on Fridays, and Selling the City (January 3), a Selling Sunset spin-off about luxury real estate in New York City. Viewers of both (and those who enjoy the Real Housewives franchise) might also want to try WAGs to Riches (Jan. 22), a “docu-soap” that follows wealthy Miami career women who are also (ex-)wives and friends are rappers and professional athletes.

Other documentaries this month include Don’t Die: The Man Who Wants to Live Forever (Jan. 1), from Fyre director Chris Smith about the routine of immortality-obsessed Brian Johnson, and Jerry Springer: Fights, Camera, Action (Jan. 7). ), a two-part series focusing on the popular ’90s daytime talk show.

This month’s comedy lineup includes specials from Gabriel Iglesias ( The Legend of Fluffy , Jan. 7), Ari Shaffir ( America’s Sweetheart , Jan. 14) and Lisa Treyger ( Nite Owl , Jan. 28).
