Bose SoundLink Micro – Lowest Price Ever

Bose knows how to create products that stand the test of time and largely follows the mantra “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” The Bose SoundLink Micro has been around since 2017, but it was such a hit that they have yet to release a second generation. Right now, you can buy it at Walmart for $49 (originally $119), which is the lowest price it’s ever sold, according to price trackers . There’s only blue on sale, but for half the price of the other options, the blue looks pretty good right now.

Right away, you’ll notice two aspects of the SoundLink Micro that indicate its age: the charging port and the battery. It has a micro USB port, so charging won’t be as fast as USB-C these days. Additionally, the battery offers a maximum of six hours of use (competitors like the JBL 4 Clip offer 10). But that’s where the cons end.

Portable speakers this size typically don’t have speakerphone microphones, but you’ll be able to take phone calls with the SoundLink Micro. With it, you can also send requests to the smart assistant (they will be connected to your smartphone). Bluetooth multipoint allows you to connect up to two devices (such as your phone and laptop) simultaneously so you can easily switch between them. In party mode, you can sync two SoundLink speakers and even play them in stereo.

But the best feature of this little speaker is its strong sound for its size. According to PCMag’s “excellent” review , it has rich lows and well-defined highs. It’s fully waterproof thanks to its IPX7 rating, and the valve is perfect for attaching to your bike’s handlebars. Considering the size, sound, and current price, there’s no better price for a small portable speaker than the SoundLink Micro.
