Apple TV and Prime Video Just Inked a New Streaming Deal

There was a time when Apple TV simply meant the company’s streaming hardware. This applies to either this or the company’s streaming service Apple TV+. Even though Apple TV+ is an Apple product, it’s not only available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. In fact, you can stream it through the Apple TV app, including the poorly reviewed Apple TV app for Android or the Apple TV web app. Now watching Apple TV gets a little easier, at least if you’re a Prime Video user.
It just so happens that Apple and Amazon have come to an agreement to host Apple TV+ as a Prime Video channel . This means you’ll be able to subscribe to Apple TV+ directly through your Prime Video account and stream it through the Prime app. This is how other “channels” like Starz, MGM+, Max and Paramount+ work on Prime. Interestingly, while Apple TV also has a similar Channels feature, Prime Video is not currently available as an option. (You can, however, stream Prime Video through the Amazon app on Apple TV.)
Apple’s streaming service will come to Prime Video later this month and will cost $9.99 per month, the service’s standard cost for new subscribers.
Apple TV+ has assembled a fairly large library for itself, which includes such famous series as Ted Lasso , Severance , The Morning Show and For All Mankind . He is also responsible for a number of high-profile films, including Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon and Ridley Scott’s Napoleon . However, this is still small change compared to other streaming services that have taken much longer to build a user base. Not to mention, Apple is relatively new to the entertainment business compared to other networks such as NBC (Peacock), HBO (Max), Netflix (Netflix). While Apple devices are hugely popular, and Apple offers free trials of its services when you purchase a new Apple product, the addition of Apple TV+ to Prime Video opens up a larger potential customer base than before.
This will definitely make Apple TV+ easier for non-Apple users to watch. While many smart brands have the Apple TV app, many have Prime Video. Wherever you can watch Prime Video, you can watch Apple TV+—if you subscribe to it through Prime, of course.
