These Three Garmin Smartwatches Are Still on Sale on Prime Day
Garmin makes some of the best fitness watches in the industry, especially if you’re a runner or triathlete. Several models are on sale for Prime Day, including the Forerunner 255 and 955. But you might want to act fast: Garmin deals often sell out quickly.
Here are the deals that were still running at the time of publication, and as a warning, you may need to sign in to a Prime account to see these prices (they’re not reflected in the links you’ll see). below, but trust me when I say they are alive!).
Garmin Forerunner 255 Music is 45% off.
The Garmin Forerunner series is the most reliable offering for runners. There are Barebone models that are a little cheaper, and fancy models with more features, but the 245/255/265 line is the most popular among runners, according to Strava.
The Forerunner 255 Music is on sale today for $219.99, down from the more typical price of $300 and the original list price of $399.99. (It was released in 2022 and was replaced a year later by the Forerunner 265, but it still has the same basic features as its later counterparts.) It’s a 46mm (larger) screen, and this particular model can store music right on the watch so you can listen to it without your phone.
The sale applies to the white bracelet version; There is a black model, but it costs $320.

The Forerunner 955 is a model designed for triathletes, with all the features of a running watch like the 255, plus full-color maps and a touchscreen. It also has multisport modes and an endurance rating that is not available on lower-end models. The white and black bracelet models are on sale now and are priced at $319.99, down from the original price of $499.99.
Garmin Venu Sq 2 is 40% off.
Garmin’s Venu Sq 2 is a lifestyle-focused fitness watch that tracks sleep, tracks activity, tracks heart rate, and more. Its 11-day battery life has made it popular among Fitbit users who want to leave that ecosystem but aren’t interested in something like a Pixel that they’ll have to charge every day. The Venu Sq 2 is on sale today for $149.99, down from the regular price of $249.99.
