Every James Bond Movie Is Finally Available to Watch in One Place

I’ve spent several years here at Lifehacker compiling or editing lists of all the movies coming to the major streaming services each month, and as a fan of the James Bond films, one thing I’ve noticed is how annoying it is to have to figure out where (and if) you can stream all 25 cult spy films.

It’s rare for a streamer to have more than one streamer at a time, a situation that persists even after Amazon bought MGM , the film studio that owns the rights to the franchise, in 2021. As a customer of the modern streaming market, this is disappointing, but certainly not an unprecedented state of affairs – although Paramount+ positions itself as the streaming home of the Star Trek franchise, for example, it currently only has three Trek films available to stream on big screen .

There’s a simple reason for this, and unsurprisingly, it has nothing to do with making things easier for the consumer: By signing short-term licensing deals with many different streamers, rights holders can make a lot more money. That’s why it’s such a rare treat to stream all 25 Bond films* in the same place – as far as I can tell, this has only happened once before .

Where can you watch all the James Bond movies right now?

It’s no surprise that Amazon owns MGM; the current streaming destination for every film in the franchise is Amazon Prime Video . Overall, this is good news for Bond fans, since there’s a good chance they’re already Prime members (along with 184 million other people in the US). Unfortunately, there are a few caveats to watch out for.

*One of the best bonds is only available technically.

First, while all 25 Bond films are technically available on Prime Video, if you want to watch 2006’s Casino Royale (hey, it’s my favorite movie!), as of this writing, you can only do so through Prime Video. if you subscribe to the Paramount+ Extra Channel. It costs an extra $7.99 per month on top of your Prime membership, but you can watch directly through Prime Video without logging into the separate Paramount+ app, so I guess it was enough for people with an official James Bond account on X.

Two Bond films are not included at all

Secondly, “all 25,007 films” does not include two other Bond films that are not generally considered part of the franchise proper: the 1967 comedy version of Casino Royale starring Peter Sellers and the 1983 film Never Again. Say Never , in which Sean Connery returned to the title role, even though Roger Moore was still the “official” 007 agent for complicated legal reasons that you’re probably familiar with if you’re a big enough Bond fan to to know that the film even exists. If you want to watch any of these minor entries in the canon, you’ll need to get a digital rental.

How long will Bond films be streaming on Prime Video?

Third – and here’s the real problem when you’re trying to stream anything these days – is the fact that there’s no way to know how long all 25 movies will be available through Prime Video. Amazon isn’t exactly transparent about which games are leaving the service when, so I recommend spending the rest of October bingeing on Bond if you’re so inclined (and can find the time among all the creepy seasonal food ). This is your mission if you choose to accept it. Wait, it’s not that spy franchise (but luckily, all seven Mission: Impossible films are now in one place too: Paramount+ ).
