What’s New on Disney+ in October 2024

Disney+’s biggest game in October won’t be released until the end of the month. Wizards Beyond Waverly Place is a sequel to the early 2000s comedy series in which Selena Gomez, who executive produced the spin-off and was featured in the pilot, played Alex Russo, a teenage wizard living in New York City. David Henry will also reprise his role as Russo’s brother Justin, who must give up his powers and live as a normal person. The series premieres on Disney Channel on October 29 and will be available on Disney+ the following day.

October will also see the release of “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year” (October 11), a Halloween-themed Simpsons short starring Kelsey Grammer as Bob, who works with Disney villains to discover the true meaning of Halloween.

Disney+ will livestream the 2024 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony at 7:00 pm ET on Saturday, October 19, and will add Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band later this month. ” The documentary, which premieres October 25, includes archival clips and footage from the band’s rehearsals and live performances.

Finally, Disney+ will continue to release weekly episodes of Marvel Television’s Agatha All Together (Wednesday) and Isla and the Mirrors (Friday) throughout the month. Here’s everything else coming to Disney+ in October.
