A Guide to Best Buy’s Pre-Black Friday Monthly Sales
We’re getting to that time of year when every major retailer seems to be running huge sales ahead of the holidays. Amazon’s October Prime Day sale is the major fall event that every other retailer seems to revolve around. This year, Best Buy is running several sales spanning nearly a month leading up to Black Friday.
All Best Buy October Sales
Best Buy’s Fall Sale is actually five separate sales from September 27th to October 25th. Here are the dates of each sale and what you can expect from each:

From September 27 to 29 , there will be a members-exclusive sale on major tech items like laptops and TVs. You’ll need to be a Best Buy Plus or My Best Total member , which starts at $49.99 per year.

From September 30 to October 20, there will be an Apple Trade-Up Event: As the name suggests, Apple users will get more from their trades when they use them on new Apple devices. Best Buy Plus and My Best Total members receive an extra 10% on select Apple trade-ins.

There will be a 48-hour sale from October 8th to 9th that will be Best Buy’s equivalent of Amazon’s Big Deal Days. They both fall on the same day and last 48 hours. You’ll find deals on TVs, gaming devices, laptops, monitors and more.

October 21 is all about getting ready for the holidays: There’s no word yet on when this sale will end, but you can expect great deals on appliances, TVs, smart home devices, and more.

The three-day gaming event will take place from October 25 to 28 and will feature gaming merchandise including software, consoles, games and accessories.
What other retailers are competing with Amazon’s October Prime Day?
Following the announcement of Amazon Prime Big Deal Days, Target and Best Buy announced their announcements. Target is hosting Circle Week , which runs from October 6 to 12, and Best Buy will host five events. Walmart also announced an ” Unwrapping the Holidays ” sale from October 8 to 13.
Do you need to be a member to shop the Best Buy Fall Sale?
Only the first event from September 27th to 29th will be exclusive to paying members. The rest is available to everyone, but members can get big savings on sales.
