Target’s ‘Circle Week’ Sale Kicks Off Ahead of Amazon’s October Prime Day
October’s Prime Day typically marks the start of the holiday shopping season, but Target has been gaining traction on Amazon lately, starting its competitive sales before Amazon two years in a row. Here’s everything you need to know about Target Circle Week.
What is (and when) Target Circle Week?
Target Circle Week is Target’s fall sale that lasts an entire week. It began ahead of Amazon’s Big Deal Day in October, which lasts only two days and continues after the sale. This sale was in response to October’s Prime Day, along with sales from Best Buy and Walmart.
Target Circle Week will run from October 6 to 12, according to a Target press release . It’s two days before Amazon’s Prime Day in October, giving you plenty of options for where to do your fall and holiday shopping.
Do you need to be a member to shop during Target Circle Week?
As with Amazon’s Prime Day October Sale, you’ll need to be a Circle member to take part in the sale, but unlike a Prime membership, membership is free. You can sign up on the Target app or Target.com .
What deals can you expect during Target Circle week?
According to Target, you’ll see holiday prep deals, savings on “fall favorites,” essentials and “more.” You will be able to shop in person or online. Their 24-hour Deal of the Day sale is also back, starting November 1st and running through “the rest of the season.” Target says you’ll find more than half of their holiday toys priced at $20 or less, as well as thousands of stocking fillers under $5. You’ll also find special offers on Disney, LEGO, FAO Schwarz, Papatui, Being Frenshe and Fine’ry.
