How to Watch the First Presidential Debate Without Cable
The first presidential debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump (which is actually the second debate of the 2024 campaign season—the first was between Trump and President Joe Biden) is approaching. Here’s where you can see the action live on September 10th.
When is the presidential debate?
The Harris-Trump debate is scheduled for Tuesday, September 10 at 9:00 pm ET. It will take place at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia and is expected to last 90 minutes with two commercial breaks. The debate will be moderated by World News Tonight host David Muir and ABC News Live Prime host Linsey Davis. There will be no live audience at the event.
Where can you watch the presidential debates?
The debate will be broadcast live on ABC News and is expected to be shown on other television networks. If you don’t have cable, you can catch it on any streaming service that includes these channels in your local market (like YouTube TV or Hulu + Live TV ). ABC will also air the debate on Disney+ , Hulu, ABC News Live and ABC.com .
Is there still a discussion?
The next scheduled debate will be between the vice presidential candidates, Gov. Tim Walz and Sen. J.D. Vance. They will take place on October 1 in New York and will be organized by CBS News. The presidential campaigns have agreed to only two debates so far (the first of which took place between Trump and President Joe Biden in June before the latter left the race), but Trump has proposed two additional meetings this fall.
