My Favorite Amazon Deal of the Day: 9th Generation IPad
Yesterday the iPad Mini dropped to its lowest price ever . Today it’s the turn of the ninth generation iPad. The 2021 iPad was considered the best tablet of the year and has now dropped to its lowest price ever after a $100 discount. You can buy a 64GB Wi-Fi-only iPad for $229 (originally $329) on Amazon, which is the lowest price according to price checker tools .
The ninth-generation iPad was voted the best iPad for most people by PCMag and received an Editors’ Choice “Excellent” review . Even though it’s three years old, it’s not yet on Apple’s list of products that no longer receive software updates , so you’ll likely still be getting software updates for a few more years. Back in 2021, it was Apple’s most affordable tablet. And that’s still the case.
The tablet weighs 1.1 pounds and its 10.2-inch screen has a crisp 2160 by 1620 pixel resolution. It runs on the Apple A13 Bionic processor, which is used in the second generation iPhone SE. The battery life gives you around five to six hours of battery life depending on your usage. The front camera is 12MP ultra-wide with a 122-degree field of view, while the rear camera is 8MP.
The cellular version is also $100 off. If you want internet access wherever you are, the extra $100 might be worth it.
