If you’re in the Apple ecosystem, there’s no doubt that the Apple Watch is the best smartwatch to pair with your iPhone. For Android users, the choices aren’t that limited. Your best candidates are the Galaxy Watch6 and Pixel Watch 2 , but only the latter is currently available on Amazon at an all-time low price (according to price trackers ).
Right now, you can get the LTE Google Pixel Watch 2 for $319.99 on Amazon with an $80 discount—the best I’ve seen since its 2023 release.
As the name suggests, Pixel Watch 2 is the second iteration in the Pixel line of smartwatches. Key improvements over its predecessor include a much longer battery life—up to 33 hours, according to PCMag’s “excellent” review . Even with Always On mode enabled, the battery will last all day.
Pixel Watch 2 was released after Google acquired Fitbit and the smartwatch includes fitness features such as accelerometer, GPS, blood oxygen sensor, heart rate sensor, temperature sensor, pedometer and others. (While many Fitbit features are free, some require a Fitbit Premium subscription, which costs $79.99 per year.)
The LTE version allows you to leave your phone behind while still being able to take calls or play music from your phone. However, as noted in our review , the watch band is one size fits all, so keep that in mind if you’re not a “size medium.”
