My Favorite Memorial Day Smartphone Sales
Memorial Day isn’t until Monday, but sales are already in full swing. I’ve covered the best sales on laptops , TVs , and headphones , and now it’s time to turn my attention to the smartphone deals I’ve compiled after using my favorite price checkers . Phone companies tend to offer better deals, but if you’re looking for an unlocked phone with no strings attached, this is your best bet.
Samsung Galaxy Ultra and Plus
If you’re looking to upgrade to one of the latest Android phones, the Galaxy Ultra and Galaxy Plus are offering great deals at several retailers. Galaxy Ultra is a flagship phone with impressive artificial intelligence features . The best place to buy Galaxy S24 phones is Amazon, where they are currently on sale for $1,039.99 (originally $1,299.99) for the Galaxy S24 Ultra 256GB and $799.99 (originally $999.99) USD) for Galaxy S24+ with 256 GB of memory.
If you’re looking to trade on any tech products, Best Buy and Samsung are also offering discounts on both Galaxy S24 smartphones.
Motorola Smartphones Starting at $249.99.
The Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G and Motorola Edge are decent budget phones by today’s standards, and at current prices they’re a great value proposition for Android users looking to save money without sacrificing the smart aspects of a smartphone.
The Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G costs $249.99 (originally $399.99) for the 256GB version. This is a great option for those who are looking for good battery life and enjoy working with a stylus. You can read more about this in PCMag’s review .
If you’re not interested in a stylus and prefer slightly more powerful software at the expense of shorter battery life, consider the Motorola Edge for $349.99 (originally $599.99) after 42% off from Amazon. You can read more about this in PCMag’s review .
Google Pixel 7 Pro is the best smartphone deal for Memorial Day
The Google Pixel 7 Pro came out in fall 2022 and was considered the best Android phone of its time, according to a PCMag review . Overall, Pixel phones are impressive devices and my favorite smartphones. (I’m still using my Pixel 6a without any problems.) Woot is offering the Pixel 7 Pro for an impressive $399.99 (originally $899.99), which undercuts Amazon’s own deal on the Pixel 7 Pro , which would otherwise also would be very profitable. This is the cheapest Pixel 7 Pro I’ve ever seen, and I would personally upgrade if my 6a showed any signs of giving up on it. If you’re looking for a high-quality Android phone at an affordable price, you should choose the Pixel 7 Pro, which will benefit from Google’s ongoing security updates and Pixel feature updates in the coming years.
