Try These Settings If Hades 2 Is Too Difficult for You
Hades 2 is officially available for Early Access on Steam , giving gamers a chance to experience the sequel to 2020’s beloved Hades . There are already a lot of decisions to make when you start the game, like which weapons are best and which upgrades to use early on, but that’s just scratching the surface. Diving into a game’s accessibility settings can really fine-tune your game, while also offering a little extra help if needed. Here are three main places to start.
God Mode is always ready to return to him.
Hades 2 , like other roguelikes , can be a challenging game. After all, the genre is built on starting over every time you die. But if you find yourself struggling too much, you can turn on God Mode (invincibility) to gain an advantage.
To enable God Mode, go to Settings > Gameplay and turn on God Mode . This will allow you to complete each level and experience Supergiant’s excellent storytelling without disappointment.
Autofire will save your fingers
The controls in Hades 2 will take some getting used to. But one key combination that will feel very natural is pressing the left mouse button to attack (X on an Xbox controller, square on a PlayStation controller). While it’s pretty standard, the mouse buttons are actually only designed to last a certain number of clicks. So, if you want to extend the life of your mouse just a little, or you’re just tired of clicking so much, try turning on Autofire.
To enable AutoPlay, go to Settings > Accessibility > AutoPlay and turn it on. The game will now automatically continue to fire your weapon when you hold down the fire button. You’ll also still be able to press the button yourself for faster attacks.
Turn off screen shake to reduce judder
It is believed that screen shake can enhance or weaken the effect of some attacks in Hades 2 . But some players just don’t like the shaking of the screen. So, if you feel nauseous while playing, try turning it off. To get rid of screen shake, simply go to Settings > Accessibility > Screen shake .
