All Three MacBook Pro M3s Are up to $300 Off
The new M3 MacBook Air laptops aren’t the only new M3 models currently discounted: new MacBook Pros with M3 chips and M3 Pro are also discounted by up to $300. The M3 MacBook Pro is a near-perfect laptop , and Apple released an 8GB RAM version at a more affordable starting price than previous generations ($400 lower, to be exact).
MacBook Pro 14.2 inch M3
The cheapest entry-level MacBook Pro, the M3, has a 14.2-inch screen . This is Apple’s attempt to make the MacBook Pro more financially accessible. It starts with the M3 chip with an 8-core CPU, 10-core GPU, 8GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage, priced at $1,599 ($400 less than previous entry-level MacBook Pro models). The display is a mini-LED with a resolution of 3024 by 1964 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, which allows you to run games smoothly. This is something the M3 MacBook Air and previous MacBook Pros weren’t capable of. The M3 MacBook Pro is a great alternative for those looking for more power than the M3 MacBook Air , as well as for those who want a good display for gaming. MacBook Pro 14.2 inch M3 Pro
The $400 price difference between the MacBook Pro M3 and M3 Pro laptops is deceptive. The M3 Pro chip is much more cost effective than the M3 for those looking for better performance and for those who can afford it. It has 18GB of RAM (10GB more than the entry-level M3 MacBook Pro), an 11-core processor, and a 14-core GPU on the M3 Pro. You also get about eight hours more battery life than the 14.2-inch MacBook Pro M3. The M3 Pro is simply a more powerful engine, although there are no upgrades to the display, so if you don’t need the RAM and processing power of the chip, the standard M3 MacBook Pro will save you some money. MacBook Pro 16.2 inch M3 Pro
The 16.2-inch MacBook Pro M3 Pro is very similar to the 14.2-inch MacBook Pro M3. The obvious main difference is the larger screen, but you also get a more powerful M3 Pro chip with a 12-core CPU and 18-core GPU, about four hours of battery life, and a 3,456-pixel Mini-LED-backlit Liquid Retina XDR display. Resolution 2234 pixels. These upgrades result in a significantly higher price, starting at $2,499, but you can usually find this upgrade discounted by up to $300 on Amazon. This is a good option if you need more screen real estate and more power than the 14.2-inch model offers, but don’t want to spend nearly $3,000 on the M3 Max chip .
