Requirements for using Steam Link
To use Steam Link, you need to check if your computer meets Valve’s minimum requirements. Getting started with Steam Link
You can start using Steam Link on your Meta Quest headset in a few quick steps. First, make sure Steam and SteamVR are installed on your computer. You may need to restart Steam to ensure you are using the latest version of both programs. After this, make sure your Meta Quest headset is connected to the same network as your computer.
Download the Steam Link app to your headset. Once you open the app, it will search for your SteamVR computer. Once it finds your computer, click the green Connect button. You will then be given a four-digit code which you will need to enter into a pop-up window on your computer.
Once you’ve connected your computer to the Steam Link app, the app will connect to your computer wirelessly and open the Steam VR environment. Here you can run all installed VR games on your PC. You can also play non-VR games that you have installed on your computer on a virtual big screen.
