How to Laminate a Vaccine Card for Free
The Staples must have noticed all the attention Crispie Cream gets for giving out free donuts to vaccinated people throughout the year – with validation of a valid vaccination card – because they are now offering to laminate those cards for all of us for free. In the latest installment of Good Things Companies Are Doing For Us Right Now, Staples announced yesterday that they will laminate any completed vaccine card from today until May 1 for free, and this morning Office Depot followed suit by promising free laminating until July … 25.
It’s not clear how important the paper cards will be in the coming months, but chances are good that you will need them to prove vaccinations at some point if you are traveling or when you return to work or school. Since the United States does not have a comprehensive “digital vaccination passport” system, most of us will rely on this piece of paper as the only proof that we have been vaccinated.
Staples tells Business Insider that in order to protect its integrity for as long as we need it, it will laminate any vaccination card after the cardholder has received two doses (for vaccines that require two, that is) until May 1. is a continuation of its original announcement on April 3rd. The offer is good in stores across the country; coupon code is “81450” according to CBS Boston . Office Depot’s offer is pretty much the same, but runs until the end of July; coupon code 52516714 and the offer can be printed here .
Be aware that while laminating the card can help prevent damage, it will not prevent loss. It is still recommended that you take a clear photo of the card for your records in case it goes missing.
