Black Friday is accompanied by sales of Apple products, including Apple Watch , AirTags , MacBook . But this is also a good time to look beyond the free apps and consider the paid ones – ones that you might have your eye on or that could improve your life a little. There are more apps on sale than can be covered here, but here are some of my favorites, as well as resources for even more app deals.
“Bound” is a great audiobook player
If you have DRM-free audiobooks in your collection, you need a great player to play them all, and Bound is $2 (50% off) for Black Friday . It’s a bargain: you can easily import audiobooks into Bound, and the app does a great job of sorting and playing them.
1Blocker is an excellent ad blocker for Safari.
If you’re bothered by ads in Safari, 1Blocker does a good job of hiding them. The app is sold separately for iPad and Mac , and is also discounted on those platforms.
PCalc is a great scientific calculator
PCalc is one of the most famous calculator applications for Apple platforms. The app has been in development for over 25 years and it even works great on your iPhone. You can get it for $4.99 during Black Friday, which is 50% off its list price.
