What’s New in Max in November 2023
Max has several original series to watch in November, starting with the second season of Issa Rae’s comedy Rap Sh!t , which stars KaMillion and Aida Osman as former friends turned rap partners (November 9), followed by the second season of Julia , a comedy-drama based on the life of Julia Child (November 16). At the end of the month, you’ll see the premiere of Booker , a long-running comedy starring Sebastian Maniscalco as a Los Angeles bookie trying to survive the rise of legal sports betting (November 30).
Also worth watching are the documentaries The Gumbo Coalition , which chronicles the lives of civil rights leaders Marc Morial and Janet Murguia (Nov. 6); Max Original Little Richard: I Am Everything , celebrating the black queer origins of rock ‘n’ roll (November 23); and “South to Black Power,” inspired by the work of writer Charles Blow calling for a “reverse ‘Great Migration’ of African Americans from the North back to the South” (Nov. 28).
Finally, Max is busy spending the winter holidays all month long, showing everything from A Christmas Story, Elf, and National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (all coming out November 1st) to what seems like the entire lineup of Christmas content from ” Food.” Network, HGTV and OWN.
Here’s everything else that’s coming (and going) to Max in October.
