Get Six Free Cans of Beer to Clean up the Clutter of Your Home
Considering all the quarantine cleanings that have taken place over the past year, while we are stuck at home with no other to do, your 2021 spring cleaning could be an easy climb. On the other hand, you also may have overdone your online shopping a little this year – both as a necessity and as a stress reliever – and accumulated additional clutter around your home.
So now Blue Moon (the brewers of whatever beer your aunt likes – well, with a slice of orange) and Joanna Teplin and Clea Shearer, founders of The Home Edit organizational company, have an offer for you: donate some of the items around your home that are on really unnecessary, and get a chance to win some beer in return. Here’s how to get the trash out of the house and get your hands on beer.
How to trade a mess for beer
The process is pretty simple :
- Follow @bluemoonbrewco on Instagram and Twitter.
- Take a photo of the six items you’ve identified for donation and share them on your public Instagram or Twitter feed, including the hashtags #LightSkyLightenUp and #sweeps. If you are posting to Instagram, please also check @bluemoonbrewco. You must also subscribe to Blue Moon by April 30, 2021 to be eligible.
- Download your free shipping label here (up to 330 labels available on a first come, first served basis), then package your items and send them in for donation. (If there are no labels, leave your belongings at the donation center.)
One participant will be selected at random to win a one-to-one virtual organization session with the people from The Home Edit. 165 Twitter and 165 Instagram posts will then be selected to win the beer prize – albeit in the form of a $ 15 Venmo payment (we’re not complaining about that).
