Uber Will Now Refund Your Online Orders
Since the launch of Uber Eats and, more recently, Uber Connect, Uber has become more than just a ride-hailing service that lets you book a driver to deliver everything from documents to gifts from you or your business around town. Now, in addition to shipping almost everything, you can call Uber to pick up your return online and deliver it to UPS, FedEx or your local post office for shipping, so you no longer have to wait or drive. out of the way to return parcels.
How to use Uber package return
To return a package through Uber, open the app and select “Package” under the “Services” tab. Click “Return Parcel” and select the carrier to whom you want to return the package. The app will automatically show you the closest drop-off points to your current location that will be open for at least the next hour.
On the next screen, review the details and click Select Return Parcel . You will be asked to confirm details such as pickup location and delivery method. Click “Confirm Delivery” to make your reservation. Once your item is received, you will be able to track its progress and your driver will send a photo to confirm delivery.
Returned packages incur a flat fee of $5 for a maximum of five packages, or $3 if you’re an Uber One member. Eligible bags must weigh no more than 30 pounds and cost no more than $100.
