What’s New at Paramount+ in June 2023

For months now, I’ve been wondering why I even subscribe to Paramount+? I can’t tell my Yellowstone spin-offs from my Yellowjackets . Then I remembered that Star Trek exists.

The second season of Star Trek: Stranger New Worlds premieres on June 15.

The Tyler Sheridan verse aside, Trek is Paramount+’s raison d’être, which means June will be a good month for the streamer because Star Trek: Strange New Worlds returns with its second season on June 15th. The first season of the Star Trek: Discovery spin-off, chronicling the days of the USS Enterprise before Captain Kirk, has been widely acclaimed for returning the franchise to its episodic roots and lacking a Borg storyline (yet). The second season looks set to continue in the same vein, adding some fan service in the form of a crossover with the Lower Decks animated series.
