How to Test the New Cherry Blossoms in Minecraft Before Anyone Else
In Minecraft’s nearly 15-year history, a lot of updates have come and gone, but players have never had cherry blossoms. Minecraft is about to turn pink and you can try it out right now.
As part of the upcoming Minecraft 1.20 update, Mojang has added a new cherry blossom biome to the world. This biome spawns, you guessed it, cherry blossom trees all over the area, adding splashes of pink as far as your render distance allows. According to the official announcement , cherry blossoms will attract both pigs, sheep, and bees, so you’ll see these animals most often in these biomes.
What can be built from Minecraft sakura flowers?
Cherry trees can be cut down and turned into wooden sets. You will also find cherry tree saplings scattered throughout the biome that you can plant and plant anywhere you like. The rest are just pink trees. Not the biggest change to the Minecraft world, but who doesn’t love an aesthetic update?
What’s new in Minecraft 1.20?
Cherry blossom is just one item that will be coming in the upcoming Minecraft update. You will also be able to create bamboo wood kits, make hanging signs, and create chiselled bookshelves. Now there are even camels that can be seduced, bred and saddled. Speaking of which, because camels are so big, they actually fit two, which means you and your friend can ride a camel around the world together.
How to Try the Cherry Blossom in Minecraft Early
Instructions for testing new Minecraft features vary depending on the device you’re using. Minecraft testing is available on iOS, Android, Mac, Linux and Windows 10 and 11, in both Java Edition and Bedrock Edition. Lucky for us, Mojang has detailed instructions for each platform on their website .
Just remember, as with all pre-release software, these features are not yet finalized, so testing them early can run the risk of bugs and other performance issues. In addition, you cannot access Realms or select servers and will only be able to play with other players who are using the same version as you.
