Use Cling Film to Keep Your Refrigerator Clean
You’re probably itching to clear your poor fridge of leaky mashed potatoes, gravy, and soup. But there is a way to make cleaning much easier, and all you need is cling film.
Keep your fridge clean with cling film
Take everything out of the refrigerator and clean it as usual. ( Here are our favorite refrigerator cleaning hacks of all time.) Then remove the plastic wrap. Ideally, you’ll want large restaurant-grade buns, but small buns will work too. Lay cling film on all shelves, tucking it in at the edges of each shelf, then put food back into the refrigerator. When it’s time to clean again, repeat the food extraction process, then remove all of the cling film and replace it. It is so simple.
Be sure to tuck the ends around the edges of the shelving by wrapping them completely. If the droplets get under the cling film, they will harden and be harder to remove, making the mess worse.
You can also use this trick in the freezer, although you can only wrap individual items, such as ice cream buckets, in cling film to keep them from freezing on the shelves.
We learned about this hack from an article titled ” Fridge Cleaning Hack Causes Controversy “. clutter builds up on the wrapper instead of being removed immediately.
