9 Ways to Talk to the Dead
According to Psychology Today , the same three-quarters of bereaved people report some sort of post-mortem communication with loved ones. It could be a dream, a feeling, a favorite song on the radio, whatever. I’m going to discard the most likely and most boring explanation for this – the emotional turmoil of losing a loved one makes us imagine things to give ourselves solace – and suggest that it’s at least possible to communicate with the afterlife.
If it is possible to speak to the dead, how you do it may be hazy; after all, this is the spirit world we are talking about. But each of these methods has its proponents, and I also rated each of them on a completely arbitrary scale of utility.
