What’s New on Hulu in May 2022
Last month we wrote about Hulu’s obsession with true crime, and the streamer will be staying on that train in May. The platform will premiere the limited series Candy , which tells the story of Candy Montgomery, a Texas housewife framed for murder in the 1980s. Episodes of Candy , starring Jessica Biel, will air over five nights starting May 13.
Also under consideration is The Valet , an English-language remake of the film of the same name. The romantic comedy follows the saga of a movie star who tries to hide an affair with a married man by pretending to be in a relationship with her valet. This original Hulu releases on May 20th.
Finally, the original documentary Look At Me: XXXTENTACION tells the story of the life and death of rapper Jaceh Onfroy, professionally known as XXXTENTACION. The film, which will premiere on May 26, uses archival footage and interviews with people close to the artist.
