TodayRemote Controls Your Mac’s Music From IOS Notification Center
Mac / iOS: Apple has a handy remote to control iTunes from your phone, but it’s limited to iTunes and requires you to actually open it. TodayRemote runs from Action Center and controls Spotify, Rdio, VLC, or Vox.
After installing the iOS app and companion Mac app, you simply pair them together and start managing your music right away. If you want to unblock Spotify, Rdio, Vox and VLC you’ll have to shell out $ 1.99 for an in-app purchase, but the free version works with iTunes if you just want to check it out.
