A sure way to drive your kids and yourself crazy is to explain an already complex concept differently than the teacher originally presented it to your child. Get information straight from the source – heck, you might even find out an easier way to do long division. Also ask if there are any additional resources, especially online, that you can use at home to complement what they teach in class.
