This video from America’s Test Kitchen tests seven popular stain removers for the toughest stains in the kitchen. Each of the seven products has been tested against a variety of stains, including hard stains such as melted dark chocolate, yellow mustard, and chipotle chili with adobo sauce, smeared on white T-shirts and blue cotton fabrics.
When all was said and done, the clear winner: OxiClean Universal Stain Remover . It took a little longer to treat each stain, but it did the best at removing even the oldest stains. The only other product they recommend is Tide Ultra Stain Release , but it doesn’t work as well as OxiClean.
