How to Turn Off Annoying Twittering in the Facebook App
Over the past couple of days, there has been an update for the Facebook app on iOS and Android. You may have noticed one very clear change: the weird chirp. Here’s how to turn them off on iOS and Android.
Facebook has a history of adding sounds that nobody needs , and this update is perfect. With a new update, whenever you try to update your feed, you get what seems like the call of anexotic bird of paradise . If you hit a new tab, you get a slight popping sound and another popping sound on hitting back. If you are annoyed by new sounds or someone around you annoys you, it is quite easy to turn them off. For iOS, go to More> Settings> Sounds and turn it off. For Android, navigate to the three-line icon in the upper right corner> App Settings> Sounds and turn it off. Now you can safely browse your feed.
