Customize Apple Mail Toolbar With Mailboxes for Faster Sorting
For those of us who still use desktop email clients , folders are a way to organize your messages. However, if you add key mailboxes to the toolbar in Apple Mail, you save some keystrokes when sorting mail.
Most Mac users already know that you can right-click a message to move (or copy) it to a different mailbox. You can also place key mailboxes right on the dashboard. Drag the mailbox to the toolbar and it will appear immediately. You can then drag messages to the mailbox in the toolbar to move it there, or hold down the Option key to make a copy.
