Five Ways to Tie a Men’s Scarf
From keeping you warm in cold weather to adding grace to your look, there are many reasons why you might want to wear a scarf . Since men’s and women’s scarf fashion and style often differ, watch this video for five ways to tie a men’s scarf.
If you can’t watch the tutorial video right now, here are five techniques:
- Parisian knot: A more casual style in which most of the material is tied around the neck.
- Ascot: A classic look that truly reflects the pattern of your scarf by placing a long strip of fabric in front – this strip of fabric lengthens your body. You can also tuck it under your jacket.
- Tucked Under: As the name suggests, you wrap the fabric around your neck and tuck the rest of the scarf under each side of the jacket before buttoning.
- Fake Knot: This method is the most difficult of these, but is recommended if you have a tie that you want to be noticed as it does not have a knot or loop close to your neck.
- Once Around: Again, the name makes it clear – just wrap the scarf once around your neck and let the ends hang down on either side.
