ControlAir Controls Your Mac’s Media Using Camera and Gestures
Mac: Sometimes you just don’t feel like touching your keyboard or mouse. ControlAir is an app that lets you just wiggle your finger in front of your Mac webcam to control your media.
ControlAir works with iTunes, Spotify, Rdio, Netflix, Quicktime, VLC, and Vox. To use it, simply lift your finger, then slide it left or right to select the volume buttons, play / pause buttons, or previous / next item buttons. When you choose the one you want, choose “air flick”. It’s a bit silly, but still fun to try and work a little. At least it works surprisingly well as long as you’re within five feet of the camera.
