Times have changed and there are more than a few tools that have been developed to encrypt your data and keep it safe from prying eyes or data thieves. It’s time to take a fresh look. What applications do you use to protect and lock your sensitive data so that only you have the key?
We last reviewed your favorite file encryption tools more than recently , when TrueCrypt was at the top of the heap. For a long time, it has remained our favorite choice in terms of safety and ease of use . Some people still see it as safe, others – including the founders of the project – see it as compromised. We were discussing the drama when it happened . In any case, now is the time for new alternatives. Make your choice in the discussions below!
