Pixelmator for IPad Gets Watercolor Painting and Improved Color Picker
iPad: Pixelmator is one of the most powerful image editing tools on iPad and it got an update today with several new features. Chief among them is the new watercolor painting tool, but several other improvements have also been added.
New watercolor brushes make it easy to blend colors and create soft gradients. You can see this in action in the video above. Along with this, the update also includes an improved color picker, RAW compatibility, and improved compatibility for Photoshop image masks. Fortunately, you can now scale images proportionally as well, which was a strange omission in the first version of the app.
