BaseLift Is a Portable, Lightweight Laptop Stand for MacBook
Laptop stands are a great way to raise your laptop a little to make typing more comfortable, but they’re not exactly portable. BaseLift adheres to the bottom of the MacBook and lifts it slightly to make typing easier.
BaseLift works in the same way as the Smart Cover for iPad. It sticks to the bottom of your MacBook, then you can fold it down to lift your MacBook a little to make typing less cumbersome. It’s not as tall as most laptops, but it does its job well enough. Because it sticks to the bottom of your MacBook, it also removes heat generated by heavy use. It’s quite durable to the touch, so even if you drop your MacBook many times, it seems like it will continue to work and function just fine. It adds a bit of weight (4.2 ounces), which makes something like an 11-inch MacBook seem infinitely heavier, but not so noticeable after a few days of use.
