Dark Wood and Beautiful Artifacts: the Workplace of an Art Designer

Russian art director / designer Vadim Shcherbakov has a stylish home office that mixes dark wood furniture with antiques and artifacts.

A bright room with white walls and a green window creates an overall bright working space. The writing desk is handcrafted in a Moscow woodwork store, and, for your information, it doesn’t sit on this uncomfortable but neat looking chair. This Edison light bulb on the table is especially interesting because research has shown that the appearance of light bulbs stimulates creative ideas. You can see more photos of this workspace at the link below.

If you have your own workspace to show off, share it with us by adding it to our Lifehacker Workspace Show and Tell Flickr pool. Make sure all photos you add are at least 640×360 in size. Maintaining their 16: 9 aspect ratio also helps! Include a little text about what you used, how you came up with the design, and any other important details. If your smart organization and good design flair are striking, you might be the next ambassador for your workspace.
