Sex Toy Review: the Minna Life Limon Is My Favorite Vibrator Ever
We kick off our new Lifehacker sex toy review series after hours with Minna Life Limon , my all-time favorite sex toy. I am so enamored with this product that I start to seem overwhelmingly fanatical when I recommend it to one of my clients.

Specifications
The lemon is small, fits comfortably in the hand. It’s made from medical grade silicone so soft you’ll almost want to touch it. Instead of buttons, it has a patented squeezable interface; the harder you squeeze, the stronger the vibration becomes. It has a recording and playback function that allows you to create your own unique vibration patterns. Moreover, it is waterproof. It comes with a USB charger and lasts 2-3 hours (and let’s face it – if you’re going for 2-3 hours straight, you should take a break). It costs $ 119 – expensive, but well worth it.
What i loved
Lemon is very easy to use. The squeeze controls are elegantly simple and a lot of fun. There are no buttons or knobs to fiddle with, which is great because nothing kills the mood faster than trying to remember which direction the speed increases and which direction it decreases.
It’s flexible. This is not just a female vibrator. The rounded tip is great for tracing nipples and eggs, adding a little extra perineum, or anal stimulation during oral ingestion. In fact, Lemon is so unobtrusive that you can squeeze it between your bodies during intercourse and both have fun.
Quiet. Limon is one of the quietest vibrators I’ve ever come across. You can use it with your roommates in the next room, and don’t worry about getting a sidelong eye when you go out to wash your hands.
It’s smart. One of the downsides to vibrators is that you can always anticipate what’s next as you control the stimulation. Pre-recording a routine on Limon allows you to create an element of surprise. Limon also shows the battery level right when it is turned on. Have you ever had a sex toy die in the middle of a session? Never again.
What i didn’t like
There is nothing not to love here for. If there is one flaw, it is not powerful enough for everyone. The Limon is actually as powerful, if not more powerful, than most of the luxury vibrators currently on the market, but it is not the Hitachi Magic Wand (although some things are). If you are looking for the vibration level of a mechanical sander, this vibrator is not for you. However, for everyone else, it’s great.
Who should buy it
Women who have never had an orgasm will love Limon – I am actually including Limon in my online orgasm course for women . Many women who have never had an orgasm approach masturbation with trepidation because they do not know exactly what they need to achieve orgasm. Limon makes it easy to intuitively tweak the feel without being distracted by the thought of which settings to use. It has proven to be extremely effective for my clients who have never had an orgasm before, so I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Limon is great for your first foray into the wonderful world of sex toys. Of course, there are other products that are better known (including the aforementioned Hitachi and the infamous Rabbit), but Limon beats them in quality and usability in my opinion. Seriously, squeezable controls are heaven’s gift.
Lemon is also great for couples. Lemon makes no difference. Both gay and heterosexual couples can find ways to play with this together. In addition, there is never a feeling that a large piece of plastic is in the way – which cannot be said about most vibrators.
Final verdict
Never mind the wacky name or shape. Minna Life Limon is an incredible toy that has received the approval of this sex therapist.
