Imagine There Is an Hour Ahead to Plan for Daylight Saving Time.
This Sunday, most US states will “leap forward” an hour in time and lose precious sleep. To make it easier to set up, try living in the future on Saturday.
Sleep Number invites Facebook to pretend you’re already an hour ahead as you go about your day:
For example, have your last cup of coffee at 11 a.m. (because it will be noon the next day). Since the half-life of caffeine is approximately 6 hours, you should not consume caffeine in the afternoon as it can interfere with your sleep.
You can also turn off your electronics and TV accordingly for the same reason.
You can also try going to bed 15 minutes earlier and waking up 15 minutes earlier over the next few days so that the recovery is not inconvenient.
