Chrome / Firefox: The promoted tweets, trends, and Twitter accounts are pretty annoying and can be confusing when you see them in your timeline. If you’re not a fan of it, Ghacks points to a couple of extensions that hide the promoted content.
On Chrome, you can use Remove Promotions and Bad Bird Blocker for Firefox to remove promotions. After installing the extensions, you won’t see any promoted tweets, trends or accounts.
